PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel antigenic prescribed substance useful in immunotherapy, especially in the field of vaccines and capable of deflecting a cellular immunity (TH1)/humoral immunity (TH2) balance so as be favorable for a TH1 response. SOLUTION: This prescribed substance is a composition having (A) an antigen, (B) an adjuvant inducing TH1 and (C) a sparingly water-soluble amino acid or its derivative. The composition is obtained by mixing a solution of the antigen and the adjuvant capable of inducing the TH1 with a solution of the sparingly soluble amino acid or its derivative in an aqueous solution of a strong acid, neutralizing the mixed solution of the solutions during the mixing and thereby coprecipitating the sparingly soluble amino acid with the antigen and adjuvant.
