PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary control device on fuel efficiency running control, which reduces a sense of discomfort that a driver feels on coasting control by changing the indication of an eco-meter according to the driver's intention of acceleration/deceleration during the coasting control. SOLUTION: The auxiliary control device on fuel efficiency running control is mounted on a running body, which includes: a fuel efficiency running control device, which performs the coasting control by disengaging a clutch while an engine is not working for external apparatus during running and by decreasing the engine speed to the idling speed; a fuel efficiency calculation section, which calculates instantaneous fuel efficiency and average fuel efficiency; and the eco-meter 13, which indicates an evaluation value of the instantaneous fuel efficiency to the average fuel efficiency as a fuel efficiency evaluation value. The device includes the eco-meter display control means 15, which changes the fuel efficiency evaluation value calculated from fuel injection amounts at a vehicle speed and the idle speed indicated on the eco-meter 13 according to the opening of an accelerator during the coasting control.
