PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to carry out the adjustment of a transmission property in a wide range of frequencies in transmitting reflective waves of ultrasound (echoes) converted into electrical signals through a cable in an ultrasonograph. SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph (10) includes: a probe (20) which emits ultrasound to the inside of a subject and receives the reflective waves to convert them into the electrical signals; the cable (21, 32) which transmits the electrical signals to a detecting part (43) for detecting the electrical signals; an image generating part (46) which generates images based on the detected electrical signals; and an adjustment circuit (33) which is a parallel LC circuit connected to the cable (21, 32) and has adjustable inductances (L) and capacitance (c).
