The present invention relates to composite powders of metals and carbides or carbonitrides for a structural material, a sintered body, and preparation methods thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to the composite powder for a structural material having a composition of M1-x%M2C, M1-x%(M2,M1)C, M1-x%M2(CN), or M1-x%(M2,M1)(CN), wherein a metal (M1) of a matrix phase is selected from tungsten (W) or molybdenum (Mo) in the periodic table, and a metal (M2) of an accessory phase is selected from a metal of groups four to six in the periodic table to form carbides or carbonitrides having an average particle size of 1 micrometer or less, and the matrix phase and the accessory phase coexist by reaction; the sintered body of the powder; and the preparation methods thereof. |
