The present invention relates to: a transcription factor AP37 (APETELA 37) protein derived from rice involved in the resistance of plants against stress; a gene encoding the protein; a recombinant vector containing the gene; a host cell which is transformed with the recombinant vector; a preparation method of a transgenic plant using the recombinant vector; a method for enhancing the resistance of plants against stress or for increasing grain yield by transforming plant cells with the recombinant vector; a plant prepared by the method, having an enhanced resistance against stress or an increased grain yield; and a composition for enhancing the resistance of plants against stress or for increasing grain yield under drought conditions, which contains a gene encoding an AP37 protein as an active ingredient. |
