PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the failure of a product easily and sufficiently. SOLUTION: A device for design includes: a storage part in which respective storage data store a plurality of storage data corresponding to any one of a plurality of components, and the respective storage data include failure data for identifying a failure mode of the failure in a component corresponding to the storage data and factor data for identifying a factor of the failure; an identification part for identifying storage data corresponding to the component identified by component data inputted; and an output part.
