<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid injection device for injecting fluid in a pulsed mode by expansion and contraction of a cylindrical piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid injection device 10 includes: the plurality of cylindrical piezoelectric elements 60-64 disposed along a fluid flowing direction and expanded and contracted in a radial direction; a thin pipe 30 deformable in the radial direction following the expansion and contraction of the cylindrical piezoelectric elements 60-64; a fluid flow path 70 provided on the inner periphery or outer periphery of the thin pipe 30; a fluid supply port 44 communicated with the upstream side in the fluid flowing direction of the fluid flow path 70; a fluid injection port 45 communicated with the downstream side; and a fluid supply means communicated with the fluid supply port 44. By selectively expanding and contracting some of the cylindrical piezoelectric elements, the thin pipe 30 is deformed, the fluid flow path 70 is repeatedly closed and opened, and liquid is injected from the fluid injection port 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
