<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed sensor prevented from being displaced from a prescribed mounted position. <P>SOLUTION: In the bed sensor which is placed between a sheet and a bed to detect a state in which a subject H leaves the bed, the coefficient of static friction of a lower surface 12 of the bed sensor is set to two to thirty times that of an upper surface 11 of the bed sensor. Since the coefficient of static friction of the lower surface of the bed sensor is set to two to thirty times that of the upper surface of the bed sensor, the upper surface is likely to slip with respect to the sheet, and the lower surface hardly slips with respect to the bed.
