PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary spray coating method which can uniformly coat the whole surface of an object to be coated, such as a board material for building, to reduce the amount of consumed coating material, and can obtain an excellent coating film. SOLUTION: In the rotary spray coating method where an object 5 to be coated mounted on a conveyor 4 is coated by spraying a coating material from spray nozzles 3 arranged so that their rotating orbital plane is parallel to the surface of the conveyor 4, coating material scattering prevention plates 1 are provided on both sides of the object 5 to be coated on the conveyor 4 so as to be close to the object 5 to be coated, at positions (α) and (β) where the spray nozzles 3 arranged on the rotating orbital plane come close to the upper part of the object 5 to be coated and positions (γ) and (δ) where the spray nozzles 3 leave the upper part of the object 5 to be coated, and coating is carried out.
