PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress any play of an idler by suppressing wear of right and left guide parts of an idler bracket. SOLUTION: A sliding plate 26 which is attachably/detachably fastened to an idler bracket 13 by using bolts 27 is provided between right and left guide parts 14, 15 and right and left bearings 17, 18 of the idler bracket 13. Thus, wear of the right and left guide parts 14, 15 of the idler bracket 13 can be reliably suppressed thereby. Further, when the sliding plate 26 is worn, only the worn sliding plate 26 is changed to a new sliding plate 26, and the new one can be mounted on the idler bracket 13. Thus, any play of an idler 20 generated by the wear of the sliding plate 26 can be suppressed, and a hydraulic shovel 1 can ensure the consistent traveling operation for a long period.
