PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate structure of a mold for molding resin, which suppresses a resistance in extracting resin waste of a gate portion, can suppress the occurrence of broken pieces and powders of the resin waste, and at the same time, can promote the treatment after molding smoothly. SOLUTION: A cavity 13 for molding a resin molded article is provided between a top mold 11 and a bottom mold 12 constituting the mold 10, and a runner 16 is provided on a PL surface 14 of both force 11, 12. A gate 17 to inject a molten resin in the cavity 13 communicate the cavity 13 with the runner 16. The gate 17 has a shape of four-truncated pyramid, the top side opens to the cavity 13, and the bottom side is formed in an inclined form obliquely downward from the runner 16 toward the cavity 13 so as to open to the runner 16. A first inclined surface 24 of the PL surface 14 side and a second inclined surface 26 having a larger inclination angleβthan the inclination angleαof the first inclined surface are provided on the gate 17.
