PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller quality diagnostic system capable of diagnosing the quality of a drive roller or a follow-up roller of entire footsteps of a man conveyor in a short time without removing the entire footsteps. SOLUTION: The roller quality diagnostic system diagnoses the quality of the drive roller or the follow-up roller of a plurality of footsteps of connecting and revolving the man conveyor. The roller quality diagnostic system includes a proximity sensor for issuing a proximity signal by detecting that the optional drive roller or the optional follow-up roller moves to a predetermined position, a camera for generating side surface image data by photographing a side surface of the drive roller or the follow-up roller except for the drive roller or the follow-up roller detected by the proximity sensor according to the proximity signal, and a PC for storing the side surface image data transmitted from the camera.
