The invention relates to a toilet paper dispenser characterised in that it includes a case, at least one of the sides thereof being provided with holes or eyelets for the mounting of wall hooks or screws and a vertical opening through which the amount of continuous toilet paper remaining inside the dispenser can be seen. The case has an essentially rectangular prismatic shape and defines an inner housing for the continuous zig-zag folded toilet paper (3). The front face of the case comprises an opening (2) which extends over the entire surface and a hinged front cover (4) which is fixed by means of a horizontal hinge to the front end of the upper side of the case (1). The front cover (4) is provided internally with side flanges having a horizontal rod (5) fixed to the ends thereof. The lower end of said flanges are chamfered or oblique (51) and, in the closed position, come into contact with the front end of the lower side of the case (1). The lower side of the cover (4) is maintained at a short distance from the front end of the lower side of the case (1) such as to define a slot (6) through which the continuous toilet paper (3) can be removed.
