A method for the permanent ligation of the uterine arteries in the patients with uterine leiomyoma in the course of the conservative myomectomy following the transitory hypervascularization of leiomyoma tissue provides for the use of standard Monocril filament with non-traumatic needle. GnRH analogue is injected intramuscularly 7 days preceding the surgery.
