PURPOSE: An expansion joint and an installation/replacement method for a drain apparatus of an expansion joint are provided to prevent inconvenience in passage during replacement of a drain apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An expansion joint comprises an expansion joint unit(30), a frame, and a drain apparatus. The expansion joint unit comprises a first expansion joint unit(10) and a second expansion joint unit(20) which respectively comprise first and second horizontal members and first and second vertical members. The frame is coupled with the first and second vertical members of the first and second expansion joint units and has a hole. The drain apparatus includes a joint and a coupling projection to be coupled to the hole of the frame.
