PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string-shaped fastener having a wide application range. SOLUTION: The string-shaped fastener is composed of a string (2), and female and male fastener members (3 and 4) disposed at either end of the string. The width of the string (2) is 0.5-3 mm, or preferably 0.5-2 mm, or more preferably 0.5-1.5 mm. The length of the string (2) is 3-20 cm, or preferably 5-15 cm, or more preferably 7-10 cm. The female fastener member (3) has a recess (31) at the center on the engagement side, and the male fastener member (4) has a projection (41) on the engagement side.
