<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat nonaqueous battery which has high energy density, good productivity, and excellent safety. <P>SOLUTION: The flat nonaqueous battery includes an electrode group composed of a laminate of positive electrode and negative electrode and nonaqueous electrolyte which are provided within a space formed by caulking and sealing a positive electrode case and a negative electrode case through an insulating gasket, and has a circular shape in a plan view. The positive electrode and the negative electrode are laminated in at least three layers in total, and each of the positive electrode and the negative electrode includes a body part having a substantially circular shape in plan view and having an electrode mix layer on the surface of a current collector, and a current collecting tab part composed of an exposed part of the current collector. At least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode includes a porous isolating material for mutually isolating the positive electrode and the negative electrode, which is formed on the body part and at least a part of the current tab part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
