<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container capable of preventing erroneous reading of an information recording part from occurring, while stably maintaining the distance between a reading unit and the information recording section, without being affected by the rotational deflection of the toner container. <P>SOLUTION: A toner container 8, which supplies toner thereinside to the image forming apparatus by rotation, includes an information recording unit E formed on an outer periphery 85 of the toner container 8; and one or a plurality of holding bearings A5 for holding and positioning the outer periphery 85 of the toner container 8. At least one of the holding bearings A5 is configured as an always-abutting positioning unit A51, that constantly abuts against the outer periphery 85 of the toner container 8 during the rotation of the toner container 8. In a normal line 86 of the rotation axis 83 of the toner container 8, the always-abutting positioning unit A51 is arranged substantially, on the same line where a reading unit B of the image forming apparatus for reading the information of the information recording unit E is arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
