<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose ester film, long retardation film and optical film excellent in surface quality (little damages by pushing, little difference in film thickness), easily controlled in a retardation value R0 and having uniform phase difference characteristics, a method for producing the same, and also to provide a polarization plate and display device excellent in display quality using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose ester film comprises a cellulose ester having 2-4C acyl groups as substituents, <2.67 sum total of degree of acyl group substitution at 2, 3 and 6 positions of glucose residues, and <0.87 degree of acyl group substitution at 6 position, and a particular polymeric UV absorber comprising repeating units having UV absorbing groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
