PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the freeze-drying of a sample without impairing the contour of the sample even if the sample is relatively large. SOLUTION: A functional sample freezing control method using a super-cooled state and the evaporation heat of water and a freeze-drying device achieving the control method are provided.
