PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-step stopping stay device which is returned by one touch. SOLUTION: The two-step stopping stay device includes a guide rail fixed to a wing body, an arm whose base end is pivoted to a fixed frame body, a movable pin provided on a tip of the arm to be fitted into a guide groove of the guide rail, and a lock ring fitted to the movable pin and having a peripheral diameter larger than a groove width of the guide groove. In the guide rail, a first stopper arc portion which is formed by notching a part of the other side edge of the guide groove and whose center is shifted from a groove centerline so that the inner surface of one side edge of the guide groove is a tangent line is provided in the middle of the guide groove while a second stopper arc portion whose center is on the groove centerline is provided at the guide groove end closer to an opening/closing shaft of the wing body. The arm is drawn to the guide rail side by a spring member to bring the lock ring into contact with edges at both sides of the guide groove, and when the wing body is released, the lock ring is engaged with either of the stopper arc portions.
