PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method by which comparative image reading of image data can be easily carried out. SOLUTION: With an object to provide an image display method by which comparative image reading of image data can be easily carried out, the medical image display includes a memory means to store series images including a plurality of image data and additional information of these image data, and a display means to read out image data, as reference image data, from the memory means for comparative image reading of the series images, and to read out the image data with additional information almost equal to the additional data of the reference image data of the series images different from the series images including the reference data, as comparative contrast image data, from the memory means. When display formats of the reference image data and the comparative contrast image data are different from each other, the comparative contrast image data are edited based on the display format of the reference image data.
