PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost of a fluid pressure cylinder, to make assembling workability excellent, and to enhance operability. SOLUTION: A diametric-directionally elastic-deformable tube 12 formed tube-likely of a thin metal material is provided between a head cover 14 and a rod cover 16, and a piston 18 is provided in an inside of the tube 12, to be freely displaceable along an axial direction. The tube 12 is constituted to engage both end parts thereof with inlay parts 26, 36 of the head cover 14 and the rod cover 16, is deformed into a complete round shape of cross section, by supplying the pressure fluid into the inside of the tube 12, and is displaced while a piston packing 64 provided in an outer circumferential face of the piston 18 slide-contacts with an inner circumferential face 12a of the tube 12.
