PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact stepping motor that increases a coil winding region and increasing the number of coil turns to increase a motor torque. SOLUTION: The stepping motor 1 has inner and outer stator yoke cores 4, 5 having a plurality of pole teeth 4a, 5a respectively, and a coil 6. The motor has stators 2 (2A, 2B) in which the pole tooth 4a of the inner stator yoke core 4 and the pole tooth 5a of the outer stator yoke core 5 are arranged to engage with each other. The coil 6 is disposed on the outer circumference of the pole teeth 4a, 5a between the inner and outer stator yoke cores 4, 5. A nonmagnetic metallic pipe 7 is equipped on the inner circumferential surface of the coil 6. The pipe 7 is disposed on the outer circumference of the pole teeth 4a, 5a.
