The drive system has a combustion engine, a crop processing unit, which is mechanically connected by a drive train with the combustion engine. The drive train contains a clutch separable actively by an actuator. A hydraulic pump is provided which is connected with the drive train on the input side of the clutch. A hydraulic motor stays in drive connection with the unit for conveying or processing of crop. A valve device is connected with the hydraulic motor and connects the motor in an operating mode with the hydraulic pump in a closed loop.
