<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid poor ignition and poor combustion of air fuel mixture in case of fuel property change or the like in a fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine including a first fuel injection valve injecting fuel into a cylinder and a second fuel injection valve injecting fuel into an intake air passage. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel injection system for the internal combustion engine including the first fuel injection valve injecting fuel into the cylinder and the second fuel injection valve injecting fuel into the intake air passage, fuel to be injected from the second fuel injection valve is injected with divided into compression stroke injection by the first fuel injection valve and injection by the second fuel injection valve if engine speed drops lower than predetermined tolerance range when fuel to be supplied into the cylinder is injected with divided into compression stroke injection by the first fuel injection valve and injection by the second fuel injection valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
