<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shock resistance while controlling weight increase of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell 10, an upper end fastening shaft 50 and a lower end fastening shaft 60 of rectangular shape are bridged between end plates 10a which interpose a battery cell stack 40S, and the battery cell stack 40S is fastened by these fastening shafts. The upper end fastening shaft 50 and the lower end fastening shaft 60 overhang from the periphery of the end plates 10a and battery cell 40 in right and left direction in the figure, namely, in the direction crossing the laminating direction of the battery cells 40, and the outside than the periphery of the end plates is made overhung portions 50S, 60S. This overhung portion 50S is in contact with a surrounding structure K1 of the fuel cell 10 in the periphery of the upper end fastening shaft 50, and the overhung portion 60S is in contact with a surrounding structure K2 of the fuel cell 10 in the periphery of the lower end fastening shaft 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
