PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the aligning accuracy and stabilize the binding position of a sheet bundle from a few sheets to many sheets when performing binding processing.

SOLUTION: A sheet processing device having an end surface binding stapler for applying the binding processing on a rear end fence 51b to a sheet bundle SB that is delivered by a sheet delivering roller and stacked on an end surface binding tray includes an elastic guide member 500 arranged inclined relative to a sheet stacking surface 51c3 of the rear end fence 51b and guiding a sheet rear end along an inclined surface. The elastic guide member 500 is provided at the position adjacent to the sheet stacking surface 51c3 via a mounting plate 510, and is inclined so that the side close to a stetcher S1a is low. An inclined angle of the inclined surface becomes reduced by the weight of the stacked sheet bundle. The elastic guide member evacuates to the position of the same height as or lower than the sheet stacking surface 51c3.
