PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently achieve easily understandable display by using a retrieval result under the significant consideration of an implication of a sentence. SOLUTION: An information retrieval device includes: a retrieval processing part for collating a retrieval key sentence corresponding to associated matching conditions with match dictionary information on the basis of match profile information, and for acquiring positional information showing a position where a word satisfying the matching conditions appears in the sentence of the match dictionary information as the result of collation; and a communication part for transmitting retrieval result information obtaind by associating a sentence including the words satisfying the matching conditions with the positional information on the basis of the result of the collation obtained by the retrieval processing part to terminal equipment.
