PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polystyrene based resin composition being excellent in strength such as impact strength, tensile elongation and flexural modulus and chemical-resistance. SOLUTION: The styrene based resin composition contains (A) (a-1) a styrene based polymer having an atactic structure or (a-2) a mixture of a styrene based polymer having the atactic structure and polyphenylene ether, and (B) a copolymer of a styrene derivative having a syndiotactic structure and an olefin. When a total amount of component (A) and component (B) is made to 100 mass%, a content of the component (A) is 10-95 mass% and a content of the component (B) is 90-5 mass%.
