摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the estimation accuracy of a phase offset on a reception side declines in coherent light reception. <P>SOLUTION: The light receiver includes: a signal generation part 506 for generating a second pilot signal; a local light source 503 for generating local light; an E/O (Electrical/Optical) conversion part 507 for E/O converting the second pilot signal and outputting pilot light for which it is modulated by the local light; a coupler 502 for multiplexing received light and the pilot light and outputting the received light with the pilot light; a polarized wave separation and photoelectric conversion part 509 for executing polarized wave separation of the received light with the pilot light and outputting polarized wave components with the local light, for which each polarized wave component is multiplexed with the local light and photoelectrically converted; BPFs 510x and 510y for extracting the second pilot signal for each polarized wave component from the polarized wave components with the local light; and a digital signal processing part 513 for estimating the phase offset of each polarized wave component with the local light by the second pilot signal and compensating the phase offset by the estimated phase offset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
