<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution device which is capable of reducing a storage capacity required for storing a content. <P>SOLUTION: A content distribution device 1 includes: a play list input section 11 which acquires a partial play list inputted to the content distribution device 1 to define it as a new partial play list; a play list delimiter detection section 12 which extracts a start time and an end time of a partial content described in the new partial play list, as markers; a play list updating section 13 which updates an entire play list, the partial play list, and the new partial play list on the basis of the markers extracted by the play list delimiter detection section 12; and a content dividing section 17 which divides an original content or a partial content described in the entire play list on the basis of the entire play list updated by the play list updating section 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
