<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the operation stop time of a power generation monitoring control system when replacing a computer and an PIO device existing in the power generation monitoring control system with a new computer and PIO device. <P>SOLUTION: An existing power generation monitoring control system 1 is provided with: an existing computer 110; an existing PIO board 120; and on-site equipment 130. The existing PIO board 120 is provided with: an existing PIO device 121 and a terminal stand 122 connected by wiring 123. When the existing computer 110 and the existing PIO device 121 are replaced, a replacement unit 3 having the newly installed computer 210 and the newly installed PIO device 221 is prepared (S1), and a testing device 270 is connected to the newly installed PIO device 221 (S2). The operation of the replacement unit 3 is confirmed by using the testing device 270 (S3). The operation of the power generation monitoring control system 1 is stopped (S4).
