PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conductive layer which has both of high conductivity and excellent transparency and moreover has a film strength for enduring cleaning and pattern-forming processing while keeping conductivity with an electronic device layer arranged on the transparent conductive layer.

SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a transparent conductive film having a transparent conductive layer containing metal nanowires on a transparent base material, a layer containing at least a crosslinking agent is formed on the base material, and after a coating liquid containing at least the metal nanowires is coated on the layer containing the crosslinking agent and dried, the crosslinking agent is treated for being reacted.
