PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation apparatus and a method of mounting the operation apparatus on a wall face capable of improving the efficiency of mounting work to the wall face by a worker. SOLUTION: The operation apparatus 1 of a facility in a building mounted to the wall face includes a back face side case 7 and a front face side case 6. The back face side case 7 includes mounting parts 8a, 8b mountable to the wall face and a terminal 70. Wiring from the facility is connected to the terminal part 70. The front face side case 6 includes a display part 41 and operation parts 11-16, and serves as a lid of the back face side case 7. The operation parts 11-16 are subjected to manual operation.
