PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching mechanism for a photographing device achieving effect of color filter switching in a low-noise condition requiring no complicated control unit. SOLUTION: The switching mechanism for a photographing device includes: a driving device; a first gear connected to the driving device; a second gear connected to the first gear; and a lead screw wherein one end is attached to the second gear. The driving device drives the first gear by using the thread drive system. The first gear further drives the second gear by using the thread drive system, and the second gear turns the lead screw. After a nut movably put on the lead screw is moved from the thread area of the lead screw, movement of the nut is restricted by a stopping block arranged at either end of the lead screw.
