PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce restriction to performance and resolution of such an encoder device. SOLUTION: This reflection type image encoding device includes a plurality of emitters 101 for radiating light, a diffusion type reflective encoder 120 for reflecting light from the plurality of emitters, an imaging lens 135 for forming an inverted image of light reflected from the encoder, a detector 140 for receiving the inverted image from the imaging lens, and a partition 170 provided between the plurality of emitters and the detector.
