<p>The invention relates to the oil production industry, more specifically to the prevention of deposits (asphalt, resin and paraffin, salts, hydrates, etc.) on the surfaces of pump rods, and can be used for coating pump rod bodies. It can be used in the extraction of hydrocarbon raw materials with sucker rod pumps, irrespective of operating conditions and the quality of the raw material being extracted. The technical result is a polyurethane coating for the body of a pump rod, which coating has a uniform thickness of 0.5-1.0 mm throughout the entire length of the rod, a smooth surface, good adhesion to the surface of the metal, a 70-95 Shore A hardness and high abrasion resistance of up to 25 mg, and is capable of retaining these characteristics at temperatures ranging from -60 to +110ºC. This result is achieved by applying a cold cast polyurethane elastomer to a pre-prepared surface of a rod body, mounted in a vertical position, with the aid of a vessel lowered from the top point to the bottom point of the rod body at a rate of 0.1-0.2 m/s, and allowing time for the coating to cure completely.</p> |
