<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent failure to close the side cover for protecting the connection part of an electric junction box. <P>SOLUTION: The side cover structure for an electric junction box 1 includes a junction box body 2, upper cover 15 and side cover 4 closing the side opening 3 for the electric junction box body. The side cover has a vertical shaft 8, and the junction box body has a bearing 21 wherein the vertical shaft is engaged with the bearing in an axially slidable and circumferentially rotatable manner, and the bearing has an upward lifting stopper 5a for the side cover lifted from a closed state and has receiving parts 5b, 6a supporting the side cover higher than the closed state when the side cover is lifted and turned in the opening direction. The side cover has the shaft 8 through vertical supports 10, 11, the bearing 21 has curved vertical bearings 5, 6, and the upper bearing 5 has a tip protruding circumferentially longer than the lower side bearing 6 wherein the lower end of the tip serves as a stopper 5a abutting on the lower side support 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
