<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering apparatus which reduces a burden of a hydraulic power steering apparatus in a low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The power steering apparatus A includes a hydraulic power steering apparatus 20 and an electric power steering apparatus 30. A flow rate controlling apparatus 28 which is operated and controlled by an ECU 47 is incorporated in the hydraulic pump 23 of the hydraulic power steering apparatus 20. After an engine is started, when an outside air temperature TA detected by an outside temperature sensor 41 is lower than a reference outside temperature, the ECU 47 operates and controls the flow rate controlling apparatus 28 to reduce to zero a flow rate of operating oil discharged from the pump 23, and operates the electric power steering apparatus 30 to generate an auxiliary steering power. The pressure rise in a low pressure piping 25a in a low temperature is thus surely prevented, and the burden of the apparatus 30 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
