<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high-reliability organic light-emitting device without the occurrence of deterioration in light emission characteristics by preventing moisture ingress into an organic light-emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The organic light-emitting device includes a substrate 101, the organic light-emitting element provided on the substrate 101, a resinous protective film 109 that covers the organic light-emitting element, and an inorganic protective film 110 that covers the resinous protective film 109. A method for manufacturing the organic light-emitting device includes a step of forming the resinous protective film 109 by a screen printing method.
