PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving terminal, broadcast providing system, receiving terminal control method and broadcast providing method with which the area to reproduce broadcast data therein can be restricted without spoiling expectations of a user who views broadcast.

SOLUTION: The receiving terminal 100 for receiving broadcast data through the Internet 600, executes: a geographical information acquisition step for acquiring geographical information of the receiving terminal; a list acquisition step for transmitting the geographical information to a control server 100 and acquiring the list of broadcast stations capable of viewing the broadcast data on the basis of the geographical information; a program guide acquisition step for acquiring program guide data of a broadcast station selected from among the broadcast station list; and a reproduction control step which requests distribution of program data of a program selected from among a program guide and controls reproduction of the program data.
