PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated HVAC unit for a vehicle which includes a front HVAC unit and a rear HVAC unit. SOLUTION: An HVAC system 10 for a vehicle accommodates the front HVAC unit 16 with a front blower and the rear HVAC unit 18 with a rear blower 36 in a housing 14. The front blower generates an airflow through a front airflow path and the rear blower 36 generates an airflow through a rear airflow path. The front and rear airflow paths are separated from each other by a partition wall 24. The HVAC system 10 further includes an evaporator 22 having a first portion and a second portion. When the rear blower 36 is switched to an off-position, the rear HVAC unit 18 operates the rear blower 36 at a minimum voltage so as to continuously generate an airflow through the second portion of the evaporator 22.
