PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten customer waiting time at an automatic transaction device 1, such as a cash dispenser and an automatic teller machine performing transaction by use of a plurality of medium types, by performing smooth return processing. SOLUTION: The automatic transaction device includes: a camera 8a for obtaining a customer image; an image analysis means 12 for detecting a medium ejection outlet which the customer is looking at, based on the image obtained by the camera 8a; and a memory unit 28 for storing the sequence of medium ejection expected by the customer analyzed by the image analysis unit 12. When the medium ejection sequence is already stored, each medium is ejected in order based on the medium ejection sequence, while when the medium ejection sequence is not stored yet, each medium is ejected in order based on the analysis result.
