PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film antenna with a wire antenna pattern manufacturable with a high yield by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This film antenna 1 includes an antenna body part 3 stuck to a surface of a transparent film 2 with an adhesive. The antenna body part 3 includes an antenna connection terminal 4 made by pressing copper foil, and the wire antenna pattern 5 made by bending two copper wires 6, 7 and subjecting them to laser welding. An end 7a of the copper wire 7 becomes a joint part jointed to the antenna connection terminal 4 by laser welding as well. Since the wire antenna pattern 5 is formed of the copper wires 6, 7 and the joint between the copper wires and that between the copper wire and the antenna connection terminal are formed by laser welding, an optional antenna pattern having a curved shape, a flexural shape or the like can be made with a high yield without causing an adverse effect such as a crack or disconnection by a simple operation as compared with the case using copper foil.
