PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver manufactured with suppressed cost increase, by maintaining the mounting space at a proper temperature. SOLUTION: The receiver 10 includes an antenna device 20. The antenna device 20 is arranged near an antenna 50 installed in a mobile object. The antenna device includes a high frequency amplifier 21 and a signal processor 22. The high frequency amplifier 21 amplifies a high frequency signal received by the antenna 50. The signal processor applies a predetermined signal processing to the high frequency signal amplified by the high frequency amplifier, and outputs the processed signal to a demodulator. In addition, the receiver includes a blower mechanism 70 (cooling mechanism) and a power supply controller. The blower mechanism 70 supplies blast to the antenna device for cooling. After a power supply to the mobile object is turned on, the power supply controller 80 supplies electric power to the blower mechanism 70 to cool the antenna device 20.
