METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF STATE OF SYSTOLIC FUNCTION IN PATIENTS WITH POSTINFARCTION ANEURISM

A method for the assessment of the state of the systolic function in the patients with postinfarction aneurism provides for Dopplerography. Prior to aortocoronary bypass, the systolic rate of the fibrous ring of interventricular septum associated with ejection fraction (S) is measured in centimeters per second. S ≤ 6 cm/s is indicative of the poor state of the systolic function, S = 6.5-7.5 cm/s is considered as the index of satisfactory state. Finally, S ≥ 8 cm/s corresponds to good state of the systolic function.
