<p>A disposable diaper and a diaper outer cover have an inner seal section capable of more reliably minimizing leakage of bodily wastes from opposite sides of the diaper or opposite sides of the diaper outer cover. A disposable diaper is provided with a liquid permeable top sheet (2), a liquid impermeable back sheet (3), an absorbing body (4) having liquid absorbing and retaining characteristics and mounted between the top sheet and the back sheet, a belt (7) having fixed thereto one end of the top sheet and one end of the back sheet, a connecting section (8) formed on one end of the belt and connected to the other end of the belt, stretchable inner seal sections (5, 6) extending along both sides in the longitudinal direction of the top sheet, and engaging sections (5c, 6c) mounted on the front ends of the inner seal sections and engaged with the belt.</p> |
