The swinging unit (1) has supporting devices (3, 3') receiving a wheel chair and suspension points (25, 25'). A slanting position of the wheel chair is varied within the supporting devices, and swinging radius of the wheel chair is varied. A lifting unit (6) lifts the wheel chair from a resting position to a swinging position, and a single-handed operable unit locks the lifting unit. A redirecting unit redirects force for lifting the wheel chair, and a lowering unit lowers the force for lifting the wheel chair.
