<p>A technology suitable for producing a high-accuracy compound gear is provided. A compound gear can be produced via a groove forming process, an engaging process, and a loading process. In the groove forming process, a groove extending in the axial direction of a first gear is formed in the peripheral surface of a hub. In the engaging process, a second gear having a center hole is engaged with the hub. In the loading process, a load in the axial direction is locally applied to a spot portion of the second gear which is opposed to the groove until the surrounding area of the center hole of the second gear is plastically flown in the groove.</p> |
